You guys don't even seem to understand how SACs work. If someone has rank 1 in SACs, and you don't, you better hope that person does well in the exams, otherwise that person is going to help drag your SAC marks down.

Nevermind, I read the original post, and the poster seems to understand what's going on. Yes, it will hurt you, to answer your question. This side-argument seems pretty trivial though. Sure, SAC marks may be a good indicator for exam marks on average, but individual results can deviate (a residual), and if you have good reason to believe that this residual is biased (that is the expected value of this residual is not equal to zero), then yes, you may very well be right.
