there's also um from memory, coil binding, thermal binding... cant remember the others. comb binding is the cheapest one.
"Don’t ever let somebody tell you you can’t do something, not even me.  Alright?  You got a dream, you gotta protect it.  People can’t do something themselves, they wanna tell you you can’t do it.  If you want something, go get it, period." - Chris Gardner

There are different types of binds.
Comb bind : A plastic comb. Pretty self explanatory. Cost slightly more than thermal.
Spiral bind: A metal spiral. What Derrick Ha uses (as well as TSFX for weekly classes). Probably easier to edit than a comb bind, and is stronger.
Thermal bind : Cheapest, uses essentially a cloth and heat to stick it together. Pretty weak though.

If its Jack's notes, why cant you just use a bigger stapler and staple them all together? That works =D

I'm thinking of including the exam packs too.
So all of those binding types are permitted by vcaa?

They dont restrict what type of binding... long as youre able to pick it up and shake it, if nothing falls out, it should be fine....

I think should have a single spine too thats about it
