Hi,
Im doing English: c, c+ and c+ for my three sacs
Physics:c+,c+,c+ for my three sacs
Chemistry: c+ - b for my sacs
Methods: D-C FOR MY SACS!
Can you guys predict my studyscore for each of them so far and what marks i should get on the exams to get 30 for each! Thanks
considering im about to ask questions hard on the english forum (im not a very good english student) im happy to give you my opinion
1st of all its how your going in relation to the rest of your school and how good they are in general that's important for sacs, head over to the technical score discussion if you feel like learning the ins and outs of it. Rather then give you a complete rundown though, ill just assume that thats what you got after VCAA moderates them.
english: get C+ overall, and say C+ for your exams and id say you'd be expecting a slightly under 30 though so id try and aim for some sort of B in your exam, that should be about right. (remember in C+ is
average in exams, not C, and B-B+ is average in Sacs)
physics: again with a C+ sac grade awarded at the end of the year, and assuming you do the same in your two exams, id predict anywhere from 25-29. for a 30 id say try and get a B or B+ in both your exams to level out the C+ sacs. (witch anyone can do with some work)
chemistry: with SAC's high C+ low B, and same with exams, id say from 30-32.
Methods: D+ sacs, D+ exams, 21-25 study score. if you stay with the sacs on D+, for a 30 id aim for 2 highish B+'s in your exams.
But the letters themselves are compleatly meaningless for sacs, its important to recognize that its all about you in relation to your class, and your class in relation to the state through there exams. Eg a student could have an 'A' in terms of percentage, and end up with a C, or a student with a C by percentage could end up with an A+. anyway yeah im not going to spam this thread with the details
