What should I do if my lecturer ignores me?

Ok here's my problem, um lately i've been struggling a little with one of my maths units, and i've asked the lecturer for some help, but he just ignores me, i even tried emailing him but still no response. I don't want to fail the unit, and i really need help because I'm struggling. What should I do? Do I tell the course coordinator? Or should I just confront him (although I'm extremely shy)?

Try a tutorial room. But you should confront your lecturers because they should be helping you.
