This forum has installed, that is, you can write maths as it would appear hand-written (or better)

to insert a maths object when you are typing, use the tex bbcode:

Code: [Select]
[tex]insert LaTeX code here[/tex]

the tex tags are used just like bold/italics/quote bbcodes

please use it, it'll make reading and comprehending a LOT easier =)

Beginner's guide

Code: [Select]
[tex]x^2[/tex]

Code: [Select]
[tex]y=e^{3x-1}[/tex]

Code: [Select]
[tex]\frac{1}{2}[/tex]

Code: [Select]
[tex]\sqrt{2}[/tex]

Code: [Select]
[tex]\int_{1}^{2}x^2\, dx[/tex]

Code: [Select]
[tex]\log_{e} 7[/tex]
an extensive list of commands

This site can be extremely useful, especially when you're first learning how to use Latex

I think you should add the fact that you can mouseover latex to see its code.
