i talked about everything :P
audience,
constant repeating of "action" was one of my main points,
both images and the title of the first slide :)

LOL-me too. And also the word "biodiversity"

I'm not sure if the piece is a real piece, but it is a bit ridiculous, not many other people identified the alternate meaning of the action of taking stock.

yeh i wrote that it could have many meanings which left the audience curious or somthing like that. is that correct?

Yer I mentioned how the title referred to "taking" while the image was the direct opposite and brought up the idea of "giving" to change the audiences' actions ... blah blah blah. So glad I don't have to write another essay on a book EVER again.

I thought it just had something to do when people say 'taking inventory' like a review of what has changed, and what still needs to be done.

But I'm pretty wishywashy to I dunno :S

I found Language Analysis to be an absolute gift... Very straightforward.
Text Response questions for Hard Times were alright. I chose the "suffering" one ... Pretty obvious choice haha!
And context (imaginative landscape) seemed like a normal "inner vs. outer reality" topic... But this is the essay I badly timed for and only had 30 mins to do in it's entirety lol! I got 3 and a half pages for it... very rushed and shitty handwriting... my Island references were shallow and hurried... :S

BUT IT'S OVER! Everyone, even if you felt like it was anti-climactic or stuff-up, it's over. So just find solace that you wil never have to do that again haha. And I think most people would be pleasantly surprised by how they went in English anyway - comparing to the absolute belcurve of language ability in the state haha!

And regarding the speech and the 2 images - if you mentioned the SECOND ONE of the "world in the hands" but not the other one, then I wouldn't be too stressed. The opening slide wasn't anything amazing except for correlating with that idea of looking beyond the "glossy brochures"/"inspiring documentaries" and things LIKE that optimistic image and getting to the issue. They won't TAKE MARKS OFF but if you DID mention it it probably looked good.

Well by chance I had heard it reading an article about 5 months ago.

To "take stock" is to calculate and make a judgement. how it means that? I don't know. But I looked it up after, and yeah, that's it
