Southern blotting could be on the design but it's old and outdated, if they did mention it it'd be explained in detail and more of a comprehension question

Think of DNA fingerprint as a whole 'fingerprint' of the dna (ie. large sections of DNA)
and the Profile to be a small profile (just the few STR's)
