The speaker's name isn't important when considering how the piece persuades the audience so really it's no big deal.

Believe it or not people, the task at hand was NOT to find the name of the speaker.

It was to analyse the text. If you did that, you won't do badly.

But then, then the first read the start, they will be like 'oh this person is an idiot'.

Not necessarily. Some of the best marks come from students who just have big chunks of analysis with little introduction. Assessors understand that students are under pressure and do not penalise people over trivial omissions.
