yeah, the bastards will take the mark off.

it is like if you leave sq root 1 as sq root 1 instead of 1.  they will come down on you for it...

VCE sucks balls...

apparently in exam 1 there is no leniency for unsimplified answers...

LOL stonecold you're always so cynical about VCAA X.x Like for Chem, you are like "those bastards put that double-bond question specifically to catch out people who thought it meant carbon double-double bonds; sorry guys, that's just how it is"

That's what I was saying after the chem midyear: they were looking for an answer of six. While everyone thought that there was a very high chance that 6 would not be awarded marks, I thought there was more chance of 7 not being awarded. . .

Anyway.. 

Anyone else hoping for a diabolically hard exam 2 (which they can still ace, but no one else will . . .) to redeem their shocking exam 1 performance ? =P

I know man, freaky that I lost that mark when 31% of chem students picked it up. Truly shocking. =[ ... =P
