How was the Biology exam?

How did you find the exam? Question wise or time wise?

For the question of transcription, did you have to mention that the pre-RNA was constructed from the 5' to the 3'? Or was that not required?

Also, with the termination of the construction of mRNA how is that done?

Was it just me, or did anyone else find the short answer section longer compared to past years? It wasn't really hard, but I can't say it was easy either cos of certain application questions :/ What did you guys say for the question about how the inactivation of a centromere contributed significantly to human evolution? And also the two characteristics which identify which jaw belonged to Australopithecus?

I actually semi guessed the answer...
it was one of only two qstions I had trouble with..

in regards to the chance of a gamete with both a normal chromosome 1 and 2, what was the percentage?

But weren't the teeth that were reduced in size the pre-molars and not the canines? I said that the molars of Jaw X were larger, proving that Australopithecus had a diet consisting of more fibrous plants D: I seriously think I screwed this paper up!

Also, with the termination of the construction of mRNA how is that done?

I concur.

I think VCAA made the australopithicus jaw bigger to confuse people.

A) Female I1 has the trait
B) Male I1 has the trait
C) Female I2 has the trait
D) Male I2 has the trait
(something along the lines of this)
what kind of question is this? lol.
