Yeah, on the whole, it was a very balanced exam. The australopithecus question was a bit irritating and the 'fish' question was another example of stupidly broad topics, but I feel whatever mark I get will be what I deserve.

fairly easy;
anyone else notice that ridiculously stupid MC question:
A) Female I1 has the trait
B) Male I1 has the trait
C) Female I2 has the trait
D) Male I2 has the trait
(something along the lines of this)
what kind of question is this? lol.

it said mother of, father of didnt it :S

In summary, all I have to say is well done VCAA, great exam.  Very fair, no matter what mark I get.

Best part.  No gay ass fucking plant questions!!!

I disagree
I didnt like the exam ( and i think i did pretty good anyway)

thought it was REALLY badly set out.
last years exam involved questions on a broad range of the course.
this years was a bit random .. WAYY too many similar questions.

true not even one dihybrid cross question! I was looking forward to those!!!!!!

Just wondering if somebody could let me know about the following questions:
* Change of normal chromosome I and normal chromosome 2 - I said 8/24 = 1/3 = 33%
* The stupid fish gene sequencing question.
* The centromere question
@ Translocation - why is he phenotypically normal?!
