i've heard that for aural in solo and theory because they can't ask anything too unpredictable, that's how they seperate the very top students from the "normal" (normal being within the standard bell curve, ie SS of between 23 and 37 or whatever it is) - not giving you enough time purposefully
i know someone who got 44 who didn't finish the exam :P so i wouldn't stress.
i have my solo one next week.... i haven't revised at all and don't even know what set pieces i'm writing on =S here i come bottom subject!

yeah ive done my notes.. did them a while back... thank god!  i cant imagine trying to attempt them now with everything else in the way!

i just gotta try memorize them now. is dot points the best way to do it on the exam? my music teacher said so, more concise and saves time??

the two pieces are carmina burana and summertime (gershwin)
carmina is actually really hard to discern the differences between the two interpretations... both very similar
whilst summertime is easier, one is a jazz standard and the other the musical version

so little musos...
i'm doing dumb things and peter gunn theme
yet to study peter gunn
gonna rock performance.

doing styles as well. it should be less dismal (hopefully). so i've got analysis experience for that part of the exam.

dot points are good if you run out of time - however if you don't sentences are better
