melodic dictation was tricky! i usually find it easy with 2 listens to perfect my answer but i didn't get a listen to double check this time =/
i feel like it was okay though, pretty sure my rhythm was right, might have got some accidentals or intervals between notes wrong
the rest of the theory was easy though (except chord progressions... anyone remember what they wrote? i think mine may have been wrong)

i found unheard okay, but again, styles kid. section C was very straight forward and very similar to other years, no tricks.

felt okay i think!

i think that's similar to what i had. except as she said put down your pens as i was reading over everything and double checking i rubbed out one of the sevenths on one of the major chords in the progression coz i wasn't sure haha oh dear!

yeah melodic was iffy :S but, it means everyone would've found it hard i suppose!
thank god that exam's over though.

i have no idea if it was right or wrong coz i'm crap at hearing 7ths.... chord progressions are my worst!
yeah one mark out of a total 105 :P haha
it'd be amazing if they gave teachers the CD so they could check answers.. haha

Did anyone finish? I don't think any of the guys at my school did.

i finished the solo one, but in saying that if i would've had more time i could've gone into a lot more detail
A+ mark for solo is usually pretty low, so hoping i got nearly all theory right and did okay on the analysis  :)  :-\

I find it pointless to limit the time like that, is all. At least I'm in year 11 music solo. :P

I'm hoping to build up my ability to do one of these by the end of next year. Not taking away from actual guitar practice though. :P

ill try and remember what i got for chords; im basicaly certain i got it right first listen :D then i went on to part C and went back for the final listen, just to double check. Basically certain about melodic dictation too (it was of a hard standard though, i thought) but its not like i remember it all :P I just remember it had a melodic minor tonality (so there were accidentals and naturals in there somewhere) and that there were both crotchet tripets and quaver triplets in the third bar.

Chord Progression:
i min
iv min
VI maj7
iii aug
ii halfdim 7
V7

Thats from memory, but i think its right.
