38/40 - both errors were from Core (Q3's ambiguity grrr, and simple error in calculator for Q11 Reciprocal transformation regression line...)

Do you think for Q3 they will just be harsh and only accept B? If they do, then my mark is 38.
If there is some massive overhaul in the subject and they accept C for it's alternate calculation (range/4) then I may get 39. But either way I'm happy.

how was there ambiguity?
it states, "USING THE 68-95-99.7% RULE".

Leave us alone gamblor (we who fail at Q3 core). We need our excuses.

@Rubiks, I agree that, since giving the method, they SHOULD really only accept B - but the question's ambiguity ("standard deviation is closest to") would have meddled with majority of the state, and regardless of the implied rule, like no other question in the exam, it's only the ANSWER they look for not the Method (thus it's not maths methods :P) so there may be some discrepancy there. I don't know... Wishful thinking probably for that extra mark. Nevermind!

Dw man still in year 11, I didn't even think of all this SS crap for Methods. Besides you still have next year to get great study scores and by the looks of ur subjects it is well and truly achievable

Similar to Q1 with 'closest to' and a possible solution of 40 (36 percent w/o converting to numbers). Very tricky questions

53+/60 should be at least 40
