^ everyone, most of you are asking for the same prediction.

realise this:
your estimate is going to generally be 1 mark per study score point
so you jezza with your 38/40 and 57/60 is about 45, and with each of those exam 2 marks getting closer to full, you are looking at 48 (if 60/60)
2010 VCE: psychology | english language | methods cas | further | chemistry | physical ed | uni chemistry || ATAR: 97.40 ||

2011: BSc @ UoM

Y1: biology of cells&organisms | music psychology | biological psychology | secret life of language | creative writing
    || genetics&the evolution of life | biochemistry&molecular biology | techniques of molecular science -.- | mind,brain&behaviour 2

If you want 40+, you need around 52/60+
For 45+, you need 56/60+

Does Exam 1 count? Like what I mean is do they combine both exam 1 and exam 2 to get your score?

Yes, including your moderated SACs as well. SACs, exam 1 and exam 2 count for 34%, 33% and 33% respectively

That's for methods and spesh (1 hr and 2 hr), but since both exams go for 1hr 30 they are moderated the same

are you serious? so lets say you drop 2 marks in exam1, and 2 marks in exam2, that would give an exam 1 score of 95%, and an exam two score of 96.67%
so basically what your saying, is your final mark will be 95.83% ((95+96.67)/2) rather then 96% ((38+58)/100)????

lol i know its as minimal as shit for high achievers, but for people with varying marks, it could have an impact.
I AM THE GAMBLOR.
NEVER QUESTION THAT.

Oh shit I just realised losing a mark in exam 1 is worse then losing a mark in exam 2 :( damn.

Each mark for exam 1 is worth 0.83 out of the possible 33 (after moderation) and each mark for exam 2 is worth 0.56 out of the possible 33 !!  :o
