ok another qusetion
VCAA 2008, the qusetion where it asks why the mass of methanol produced by the fuel clel is less than expected
Can I say "Assumption of previous part incorrect: Not all the current passing through the fuel cell is used to produce methanol" It wasn't oneo f the answers in the assessor's report, and I can't see anything ruling this answer out
I dunno. Borderline. If some of the current wasn't used to produce methanol then you are implying one of two things:
-Current lost to heat (my stupid answer

) which is wrong
-Current caused other reactions to occur, which they define as 'side reactions' which would be right.
Probably lose the mark for not being clear enough, but I dunno, it really depends on the examiner with these answers that aren't printed in the report.
Anyone find this paper really easy? I pray Thursday is like this...
