MrIraq's MILKCARTON's tips: In the morning: Tell your maths teacher you're the best academic ever and you're going to make him/her proud by bringing back a 40+ study score. (Self Confidence/Motivation)
Have a big breakfast - you'll need the energy. I suggest a low-GI breakie

or McDonalds will suffice
Before exam;Drink Water
Ask teachers for any assistance on those vital questions you desperately need to answer!
Go to the toilet if you've drank lots of water, so you will save those vital minutes for answering the questions!
DONT EVEN BOTHER BRINGING A PHONE ON THE DAY, UNLESS YOUR A SILLY C***
Go into the exam room, cool, calm, collected, and driven to destroy the exam!
Tell your mates; "Good luck, chums! I wish you all the best" (group motivation)
During the exam;Reading time...
Read the questions and think methodically as to how you would approach it. Look at the
command words usually highlighted in bold. Tell yourself sub-vocally (inside your head) what you're going to do.
Ex: Module 4- Business Related Mathematics, question 1 - simple interest. "Okay name, you're gonna be using I=PRT/100 .. )
Rip out your formula sheet
Writing Time....
Go through the questions, primarily the last one you were figuring out what to do during reading time as you'll answer it the quickest (recency effect for those studying Psychology)
If you have heaps on messy working out, i recommend that you circle the answer or highlight it.
Try to have neat working out.
Any questions you're stuck on, write it down on the formula sheet with a fat arrow pointing towards it.
Average 2 minutes per question.
For the
one mark questions, don't write the working out down! An answer is suffice.
Two + marks, working out!
After the exam;
So you just finished Further Mathematics for the rest of the year, congratulations. Hop back on VCENotes and comment on my 'MATH EXAM 2 - THOUGHTS/DISCUSSION' topic!
Ask your mates how you think they went, give em a pat on the back - "Well done, mate" - "Ah man, relax! you did great, I'm sure" etc
Don't ask your friends what they got on "question X of module X" etc - what's done is done. No need to dwell, focus your energy towards your next exam (PSYCHOLOGY FOR THOSE WHO STUDY PSYCHOLOGY!!)
If your teacher was nice, kindly visit him/her and thank him for a great year.
Go buy some food - perhaps your favourite meal or snack - positive reinforcement.
At home:
VCENotes.com GO !
Tell your parents that you did great for praise!

DO NOT go on Facebook and write the common "omfgg... did soo bad

fml fml fml" rubbish. =)
