Question 5b) pretty sure that b = -0.5 , but i'll need someone else to confirm that
Question 6b) I got 5/32 by working and so did my CAS
Question 7b) I got 32/3 by working and so did my CAS

I agree with you on 5b.
But for 6b and 7b, I got the same answers as itute (Well, for 7b, I simplified it to 5/32)
