I was one of those people who believed in my calculator and wrote 1558.9 for the trig question
Because the calculator showed 1558.85 do people think that theyl allow both 1558.8 and 1558.9?

i hope to hell that they do but i dont know cause thats the only mark i lost on this exam cause of my freaking calculator when we work it out right but the calculator subsequently rounds how are we to know this cause usually they don't do that unless it is exactly .85 not .847... so yeah i hope so.

I did the same thing. Just the worst luck for that to happen.

i don't know how we are supposed to figure out that our calculator hates us though
cause mine is set to float 6 so usually i get 6 odd decimal places so i don't know what else we could do other than to be lucky to actually check
maybe the vcaa may be nice of that day.

yeah especially when you're trying to hurry and get it done as quick as possible. like i would never ever think of doing that (bringing the number down). Its annoying cause thats not even maths related.

lets hope for us they accept both but i highly doubt it, thats the thing. if they are nice with this one, and the residual one where they accept -725. then im looking at 59/60 :D
