was the question asking for the reducing balance rate?

coz i just used the depreciated value (5277) and chucked it into the formula i got :|

here's what i did -

rate = (1-(5277/10000)^(1/5)) X 100
       = 12%

maybe i read the question wrong :|

it depends if you use previous answer or exact values for geo.1c)

if you use previous answer you get 41.2 if exact then its 41.1 either one should be fine

no it should be 180 - 41.2 or 180 - 41.1 as it is the bigger angle or did i read question wrong?

hmmmm, from what i can remember: Actual: 13.55 Predicted using formula: 13.77

Residual = Actual - Predicted
                13.55 - 13.77 = -.22 ??

the previous answer Q1b)was 20.55 rounds off to 20.6
i used the exact value to calculate Q1c) which was 2times the angel in q1b), so therefore 41.1

and the question was asking the angel AWB where W is the top of the triangle

lol yeh the more accurate answer is 41.1 degrees, but you'll definitely get the full mark if you wrote 41.2 because you used the previous answer. i've checked vcaa's previous assessment reports and they award full marks if your answer is dervied from the previous question.

i'm still waiting on sequences and series answers =P
