only 1% got full marks on last years paper compared to 3% in 08 :/

08 was defs harder right?

I think only slightly, the A+ cutoffs are identical though.

Yeah are you sure binomial is not on the course? Why is it in textbooks then?

Binomial theorem is not on the course, btw.

straight from the study design

the binomial distribution, Bi(n, p), as an example of a probability distribution for a discreterandom variable (students are expected to be familiar with the binomial theorem and related binomial expansions);
2010- English, Methods (CAS), Physics, Specialist, Chem.
2011- Bachelor of Commerce/Aerospace Engineering - Monash

u should have done a fair bit of binomal expansion in unit 3 accounting so u'll be fine ;)
