Yeah i think you can avoid them by using easier/quicker methods? not sure

Surely VCAA won't put this shit will they?

You're expected to know how to draw graphs like x^(1/3). 7b is a hence question where you just reciprocal it. And just take care in that the denominator cannot be 0 and thus there lies an asymptote

There's a minus on the top, and the bottom is minus'd, they cancel out?

Um i dunno how to show it but... im pretty sure if you times the top and bottom by -1 you'd get the same thing

So (-(x-1))^1/3 + 2 is the same as-(x-1)^1/3 + 2

???
