Strictly Increase/Decrease

Anyone know where I could find any questions relating to strictly decreasing or strictly increasing? I couldn't find it in the Maths Quest textbook, and haven't tried the Essentials book as yet.

Also if anyone could tell me where I'd find questions on sketching derivatives of hybrid functions or determining how a function is constant, that would also be grand :)

well there wouldn't really be any proof questions in methods so i doubt there's books that has questions on strict inc/dec since questions will simply ask "prove this function is strictly inc/dec" which the general method of doing so is illustrated here: http://vcenotes.com/forum/index.php/topic,32615.msg337427.html#msg337427
