I think I nailed it :)

I asked the guy for a copy of the exam, but he wouldn't give me one :(
Well that sounds cool, I think I'll ask for a copy of the chem exam just hope they don't refuse

That's pretty lame. As a VCE student you have a right to pick up a copy of each and every exam that you sit.
I'd complain next time and threaten to tell VCAA haha
That sounds cool, I think I might ask for a copy of my chem exam on thursday but maybe I won't but who knows

for the probability question....
I was soooo dumb not to know how to factorise it - WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!!
If I left it as 16x^2+6p-7=0
would I get 1 of the 3 marks or 2......

why am I sooooo dumb not to factorise it!!!!

yeh same here.. i got 1/2  first but wen i sub it back in the table it somehow didnt work.. i did it again using quadratic formula and i got some weird surd stuff and i just left it at that..  :(

i used the friggering quadratic formula aswell..-  - the root was so dam large i dunno if i could simplify it anymore..= = hopefully no marks deducted..

Did you get root484? Yeah, that was nasty, but if you divided it by 4 you would realise it equals 2root121 which is simply 22.

I went 448+ 36 = 480. Pro right? -.-
