Woops. I'll have to correct that.

Would r = 0 as a consequence of having h = (5r/2) garner a mark?

Yeah, it was only that Q's which did the trick, and funny enough, it's always the last q'sn.
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

LOL i found h in terms of r and V for Q11. Would i get consequential marks for using that for part 2 and 3?

LOL i thought of that-but then i was like "no way.."
You might get 1 mark. Pray for your examiner to be lenient enough.

what? was question 3b asking for domain too?
or was it just asking what g inverse (16) was?

Just for the inverse, don't worry. It was a one mark q's anyhow, and placing the domain would be irrelevant.

and whoever said this exam was hard, its the easiest - by a long way - in the past few years...

you're joking.  it had lots of long calculations, no easy probability.  last question, would like to know which part of the study design they pulled that from.  other than the last q, it was very doable, but one calculation error and you were gone...

vcaa 09 exam 1 is by far the easiest i have come across...

except in vcaa '09, the last sub q was a killer, only like 3% of the state got it..
whereas today, the last q was very doable, similar triangles r nothing all that complex...
