Dude, it's one 3/4 score it's not even your ATAR. My parents don't know what study scores are they only know about the ATAR.

No matter what score I get I reccon I'm gonna bugger off for the day and see my mates... They're the ones that I will want to talk to most, my parent's just don't seem like the type of people that I want to share bad new with... and they'll want to talk to me about it and discuss where I think I went wrong and such, I would rather just drop the whole matter if it's a bad score and go and get soundly wasted.
whoa why so negative? you didnt even get your mark back!
dont worry bout it im sure you'll get something that you didnt expect to be so good

btw what subj. is this?

Legal, and I wasn't trying to be negative, i love them heaps, but I just feel like I won't want to be around them having known that I haven't done as well as they hoped. My friends on the other hand have been through the exact same experience as me and i feel like on this topic i can talk to them better.

Also, I was thinking of the whole 'i got 20 then reveal the real score' thing if i get a score that is good... but if i get a score i'm not happy with I suppose i'll just tell them straight off the bat.

Parents are not very understanding... they think 99 atars grow on trees.
"99.50 99.80 etc are easy, my friends' sons and daughters got those, it should be easy for you"

My parents have already written me off as a failure. That's half of the job done.

You mean if you asked your parents to guess your ENTER/ATAR score, they will say like 50? >.<"

Except you did really well ... I think it'd be much worse if they asked that and you didn't get over 99.

It was more because that suggested even an ENTER over 99 wasn't an achievement to them because it was "expected"
