So do we need a scale for the axes? Like 2,4,6,8,10 to obtain full marks when sketching graphs or just label key points and asymptote equations mainly?

Scales ARE part of method mark. Got that drilled into my head by my teacher. Doesn't take long anyway.

Just kinda annoying when working out the intervals etc..any reason why they don't show it in the solutions on VCAA reports..?

I thought when they say 'sketch' then you don't need it a scale. Thought you just had to label the intercepts, x and y axis and any other relevant information.

You have to draw to scale when appropriate as well as label all axis with 1 2 3 4 etc... it IS mark-deductable

Lol, so is mine, and she said that if you don't draw a scale you need to show at least two points on the graph.

I thought if the graph includes a scale, then you need to draw the graph to scale, otherwise then it's just a sketch (labelling key points).

If they just give you two axes, you have to draw it to scale, usually just use your ruler and divide the units by 1cm and label each unit, doesn't take very long. It was emphasized on a previous assessors report to do so otherwise -1
