Measures of success!

Alright, here's the deal. In about five weeks time, there's going to be a whole of of sharing scores and stories. The important thing to remember is that your ATAR isn't everything.

Agreed? Alright, but... what IS important?

  • Getting the same raw score in every subject? Awesome!
  • Beating a friend/sibling/enemy? Great job, you vindictive bastard!
  • Arranging your subjects by score only to find they're in alphabetical order? Hell yeah!

I think you get the general idea.

Hopefully this will boost the spirits of anyone who might be feeling a little disappointed when the big day arrives.

Keep this thread alive until the time is right!

If this would be better suited to another section, I offer my firstborn in the name of peace and good vibes.

For me it went:
1. Beating sister - otherwise i'd hear about it for the rest of my life
2. shutting up parents for calling me stupid and lazy
3. beating friends (less important than beating sister because they're easier to avoid)

from then on its all pretty much the same (the importance of courses and scholarships is WAY over hyped)

I have to beat my ex-girlfriends brothers, both got 95+ and both give me a hard time. Wouldn't mind sticking it up them.

So your ex-girlfriend's brothers both gave you a 'hard time' and you want to 'stick it up' them. Am I reading this right?
