has anybody else noticed doing vce in 2010 is bullshit. Physics, methods and specialist were far more harder than the 09' exams. fucking vcaa.

I don't do chem but, i heard chem was easier -______________-

If Physics wasn't harder in 2010 than 2009, then 80% of the state would have got 95%+.

But I agree with you on Specialist and especially Methods.

Harder = better. Separates the top end of the end. Don't have to worry about silly mistakes :)

andd accounting! they stuffed up the mid-years and now unit 4.
Cant even get their questions right.

naw its bs, in the 09 physics exam i wouldve got mid-high A (test conditions, 34min no double checking, 94%). this years i got high B+ :(

only six people got 100% on physics mdyear compared to 100 and something in 2009, harder? i think so

chem was much easier in the midyear, but it means that i dropped ten thousand marks for things like sig figs :P

It seems that after EVERY exam everyone is like "OMG that's so hard, it was harder then the previous years". Of course it seems harder if you do it in exam conditions and it is an actual exam that counts towards your future. I agree that methods exam 2 was hard compared to others, but exam 1 was quite easy; likewise the specialist exams were really not that hard compared to previous years.

Yeah, what you are saying is valid - under exam conditions, it is easy to say 'that was the hardest methods exam I have ever done!' But to be honest, today's paper was intense... don't recall what I did two hours ago. Or don't want to rather.

Yeah, probably a slight overstatement, but my point was that the 2009 midyear for Physics was astonishingly easy.
