I wrote enough to get 2/13 marks for the whole question.
The true pyramid of death, the irony being that it was the schematic for a tomb hahah.
but yea, it was impossible  ;)

It wasn't impossible at all... similiar triangles and then pythagoras lol
It was all 'Show that' as well, which made it easy for people to fake-work their way to the answer which is annoying.

the last 2 integral ones. 20 was umm something with a and f(x) so it was: find the exact value of 2(integral sign from 0 -  5a) (f(x) - 3) dx

and the other one was proving that one integral equaled another 2

for the first one i solved integral from a to 0 of x2 = a, and a = sqrt3
then i solved integral from 5sqrt3 to 0 of (x/5)squared - 3 and got 40sqrt3
so answer was 40a as a was sqrt3

other one i cant remember....

This and the cone are going to be disputed I'd say, since neither concept is strictly methods, but moreso further. It has been pointed out that the concepts should stem from year 8/9 math if I remember what my teacher said correctly. But at any rate, I've developed a negative dispossition towards cones, pyarimids and other triangularly pointed polyhedra.

I actually thought the probability was pretty fair, I got through it I'd say with close to full marks.

This was my best question.  Only dropped like a mark on the show question.

rest of the paper, particularly question 4, can go suck it...

During reading time I was horrified by the probability question, but when I got up to it it all became quite clear.

Um. I used SOHCAHTOA for question 3. O_O I ended up getting the question where it was like 'Prove/Show the TSA of the pyramid is ___' right so I hope I was right for the first two as well. As for beyond that.. well.. -cough-
