i must say VCAA have really fucked up methods this year. First releasing a sample paper for the 'new and improved Exam 1' and none of those questions appearing on the actual exam, and now this ball breaker of an exam. A teacher at our school said that some question were spesh level people who do spesh is that how you saw it?

No. First question was simple methods work, second was probability which we don't do in spesh, third was pretty much basic geometry, and the fourth was quite complex but nonetheless it was at the expected methods level.

Doing specialist would not have helped you in this exam, apart from simplifying some trig functions in question 3, which wasn't required anyway.

I'm prepared to go to the lengths and say this exam was harder than the 2010 Specialist Exam 2.
I actually finished the specialist exam comfortably, as opposed to struggling in this and having to guess the last couple of MC.
Note; its also my second time doing Methods. YOU WOULD THINK IT BE EASIER THAN SPEC LOL

Claims that the A+ cutoff will be 62%.. I really want to see it.

And I can't bear to do more exams.. Just so useless. What benefit is there in doing practice exams that won't be void after Thursday? xD so pointless..

And anyway, more exams will avail little .. I've already done enough of them, I think..

Anyway, someone upload the exam. I want to see if there is any substance to the claims.

maybe not 62%, but lower than 2007 definitely.

You get a spare copy from the invigilators or your teachers.
