I'm saying 80-81, if not less. because it was 82 last year, and last year was easier and this exam had a couple of subtle but nifty tricks.

Yep definitely. This exam was harder than last years and about on par with 08. I'd say the A+ cutoff will be 80-81.

Last years cutoff was 85.5/90 and 2008's was 81, so I think just about if not below 08.. 80-81/90.

any estimates on the A cut-off?

If the A+ cutoff is ~84, then A cutoff would probably be ~76

What do you mean? Scaling from 32-34 is ~3. So 35-37 scaled.

i got a B+ for mid year, averaging about low A+/high A for sacs and most likely low A+ for this exam. Is it possible for me to get 37 or 38?

What would a very high A (exam 1) and a very high A or very low A+ (exam 2) get me with an A+ on SACS?

IMO the x-ray question is enough to make the cut off lower than 09. I think a lot of people would have got that wrong. There were a lot of explain questions and it would have been pretty easy to drop marks on the flux=0 and force=0 questions. It kind of annoyed me though that for the force question it asked you to explain your answer. That made it pretty obvious that it was 0 and you had to explain why.

And that there was no box to write your answer in, pretty much gave it away.

Yeah, I forgot about that. Hate that. If they made it a little less obvious maybe the cut-off would be lower lol
