Exam is amongst us!

Is an A achievable? Especially since I suck at listening. Actually that's an exaggeration. I'm not terrible, but I'm not the best. And I think I got a B+/A for my oral. My sacs are looking okey. EXCEPT FOR THIS HORROR ONE. Everyone in the class got like Es and Ds for it. Some failed. IT was a listening. We were studying recycling systems in Japan, and the listening, you'd expect it to be about it. But no. My teacher made it about frikken cranes. All but one kid missed the point of the sac completely. BECAUSE THE KEY WORD WASN'T IN THE DICTIONARY/NO-ONE HEARD IT PROPERLY TO LOOK IT UP.

Does your school have a good record at Japanese? Jap seems to be one of those subjects where the same schools do well every year.

My school sits at 24 up to 33 on an average year. We're had high 30s and 1 40 in our history. Yes. We are a lower end Japanese-Teaching school.

shite! thats awesome, you must have a 'stronger' cohort.
my cohort next year will only be 10 students and id say ill end up ebing ranked 2-3
i think we do average or just above average, but my teacher reckons we got a good cohort to do well with.
Any tips for jap 3/4?

I don't have any essays marked by actual teachers, but I can share my lang-8 entries.

I THINK they're of a decent standard (A/A+?), and they're corrected by natives. I wrote them on a genkooyooshi first, so they're about 400-500ji (except one of the entries).
