I contemplated that as well but in the end I didn't do it cos I don't think it was relevant

umm not sure. i spoke about globalisation and its impact on ford, the forces and how ford incorporated TQM using kotter's to eliminate the restraining forces and build the use of TQM

ahh fair enough
so you mentioned golbalisation in that question, however if i mentioned groups such as employees and stakeholders etc, would that have been fine too?

as long as you could relate them to driving/restraining forces then I can't see why not. It would be incredibly picky for VCAA to not award you marks for it

the last question DID NOT ask for a way change management can be managed so therefore kotter's theory could not be applied. the question asked to describe driving and restraining forces for a particular issue that was studied .
if you mentioned kotters rather than focusing on driving and restraining forces.... don't think you would get more than 2 out of 10.

100% agree. question did not require any link to Kotter as it didn't ask for it. If you were meant to speak about Kotters is would have said 'Discuss Kotter's theory' or 'Discuss a relevant change management issue'

What if you did both? Like I did the full page and a half on what the question asked and the issue that our school studied. then right at the end wrote something like "For any company to get sucessful change they should implement kotters theory, the first step is to...etc etc etc". only took like 3 lines.

Is that ok? or will I loose marks?

You will unfortunately lose  marks. You get no marks for discussing Kotters as the question didn't ask for it.

Yepp. You would probably want to talk about; what the issue was, the case study, 3 driving/3 restraining forces in your case study, and perhaps a conclusion? Thats what i did... confirmation anyone?
