Back in July I mentioned we'd be holding a competition to decide who you guys thought was VN's most helpful member. Disregard the monetary values you saw there. We're awarding several prizes. You guys are going to vote for the person you thought 1) went out of their way to help people, 2) helped with quality posts and answers and 3) contributed to the community atmosphere as best as possible.
They can be ANY member (even staff! although i'm excluding myself and ninwa from this for obvious reasons)!
The process will work as follows. Chuck your nomination in this thread. Just write down the names of up to THREE people you wish to nominate as the best VN contributors this year. You can even add a bit of a pargraph as for why you've chosen them to maybe convince others of your choice
I will then make a shortlist of the 10 best nominated people in this thread and put up a poll for you all to decide who gets the chocolates.
1st prize is $100, 2nd prize $50, 3rd prize is $30 in the form of Borders book vouchers.
There will also be a Staff's choice prize of $70 handed out after the process to decide the MVP is finished to reward someone who didn't get an MVP prize but we still felt was deserving of some recognition for their effort.
This is just a small token of my appreciation for how much I respect and admire you guys for making this community as fantastic as it is. I want to give back to the people who give the most and I know you guys do, because they deserve it! Let the nominations begin!
