I tend to only go on the forum section, I find that more helpful especially if you have a specific question in mind that the notes might not cover.

I have never seen anything outside of the home page and the forums lol didnt know notes existed

I can't really judge for the notes section, but it seems although the forum has more notes/exams to download.
