The people @ VU are more down-to-earth, and the coursework is more practical, but employability of someone with an accounting degree from VU is lower than other universities. You'll find that you'll get a job once you graduate, but your starting pay will be lower. Keep in mind though, that it's just like high skool... just like no-one cares about how well you did in high skool once you've started uni, no-one will care where your degree came from after a couple of years dedication in the work force. If you really don't want 2g2 VU, complete the application form and "post" the letter (i.e tear it up and dispose of it in a public trash can your parents won't snoop thru), then get some1 techno-savvy to make an official-looking rejection letter 4 u (or better yet... some1 who works there and knows the general gist of a VU letter format *looks suspiciously at another VN member* :P).

Your parents seem to have their own best interests at heart, rather than yours. You need to do what's best 4 u Odette, and if that means going against them then do it (whether blatantly or covertly is up to u).
