That's all the exams I have - to get more - follow the links on my first post of this thread.

I have more Unit 4 exams than Unit 3 exams. Though it may not work for everyone, follow my advice and see how you go. Once again as I have said, put in the effort and time for Accounting and you shall get the mark you want. Use the resources available to you, here on VCENotes and your teacher. If you have any queries/qualms, feel free to ask myself or just post on the Accounting Board and other people may have the answer to your question.

PRACTICE is key in Accounting if you want to do well.

Best of Luck, Accounting students of 2011! :)

Might I add that several people have asked me: "Were the Accounting exams hard?"

IMO it wasn't too hard - not too dissimilar from previous years (i.e. 2008) in terms of difficulty. Though the VCAA did make mistakes in both the Unit 3 and 4 exams - for that reason, I'd say the exams would be easier in 2011 - which I have already said on the first page of this thread. It doesn't matter if the exam(s) were hard or easy, if you've done adequate practice/revision, then you'll be ready for whatever VCAA throw at you. VCAA this year, IMO tried to test students' knowledge in a different style/way and it ultimately back-fired on them.

Download last year's (technically still this year's - 2010) exams from the VCAA website, when they put it up. You'll see what I mean. In any case, revise/practice enough and you'll do well. :)

I thought I'd add some other REVISION stuff/material. Note that they're all Unit 4 revision material.

By the way, it's still locked. If you need any assistance ask myself, or just post your question on the Accounting Board - as a suggestion, if people could make a thread specifically for Accounting questions, that would save people having to make new threads every time they have a question. That's what I did this year, and found it worked well - other users may have already asked your question (saves time and space). Benefits everyone.

http://vcenotes.com/forum/index.php/topic,27656.0.html

That was the one I made. It went for 25 pages or something, this way it saves people the hassle of posting on a new thread etc.

Also, another question that I've been asked: "How many exams should I do?"

This is question, I can't answer nor can anyone else. It really comes down to the individual. Some may only need to do 10 exams and feel prepared, others may feel the need to 30+ exams in preparation for the exam. There isn't a set value/number of exams which will get you a good score for Accounting, let alone any other subject. Do as many exams as you need, until you feel fully prepared!

If you want to know how many I did - for the Unit 3 exam, I did about 10~15 exams. For the Unit 4 exam, I did 20+ (close to 25) exams. Again, the amount of exams I did is irrelevant - that was the amount of exams I felt I needed to do, in order to be fully prepared. Doing more exams doesn't necessarily mean you'll do any better than someone who does 5 exams. It varies from person to person.
