I've got all mine except my breadth Finance I

I reckon it'll be a slaughterhouse :P  As a hardcore biomed student, didn't really enjoy that subject at all!

I got a 79 for integrated human structure and function. I'd rather a 75 over a 79 any day and I was really hoping for a H1. I got over 80 for the exams but the first mid semester test pulled my marks down.

At least I got a an 85 for Microbes, Infections and Responses.

Yeah I'm surprised the IHSF results are out so quick. I still haven't got my result from my breadth which was held on the 9th.

Compared to first year bio how hard is second year? (For Biomed, that is)

I got 95 first sem, 97 second sem...are the double subjects much harder/heaps more content and harder assessment?

Got an 81, quite relieved

Yeah the first MST has probably cost a lot of people H1s, I don't think I know anybody who got full marks for that stupid question on action potentials that David Williams didn't actually teach :(

They're harder and with more content (obviously) but if you're getting mid 90s then you'll still get H1s. There's a lot more focus on integration and understanding, there very few "label the diagram" or "fill in the blanks" questions on the exams. Physiology and anatomy both have long response questions and MCB's paper 2 is predominantly long responses

Oh and some of the assessment was seriously ridiculous, a diagram buried on the last page of a set of prac notes was a major piece of assessment. Overall it's pretty fair though

Also theres no tutes for the double subjects so you don't get the same amount of questions to prepare for the exams.

Ugh this as well. Get into the habit of writing your own exam questions to practice on, there is very little available from the uni (basically the one exam paper they have to give you). And make friends with 2nd year students to take their notes.

Congrats everyone so far.
...

Oh god Business Finance & IFA, please don't scale down :S

I've heard (rumours, so don't take my word for it!) that IFA might scale up (considering most people I've heard from say the mid-sem. was tricky). Would make some sense if it did, too...

BusFin, oh I really hope that doesn't scale down...  :o
