I don't think we have to learn the jurisdiction in detail of the minor courts like the Koori, Coroner's, Children's (Etc.) Courts, do we?

I don't think so. It's really the Magistrates', County, Supreme, Court of Appeal and High Court that we need to know. Don't take my word for it though.

The new study design omits some of the courts. Not sure which ones though.

Read the study design for Legal Studies. Does it clearly say what courts are tested?.. I skim read it and couldn't find where it said what courts were tested. On a side note, are people willing to do the "Results Thread" (see the thread below this)..?

Another aspiring Legal student with absolutely no background knowledge :s

Hopefully will go well anyways. :)
Was a med hopeful in 2011 currently studying Science/Laws at Deakin University.

Did English, Chinese SL, Methods CAS, Biology and Chemistry + Retail Cert III in Year 12.

Feel free to ask any questions related to the above; and I AM SOOO SORRY to all the people who've inboxed me since last year for my non-responsiveness, I forgot completely about this forum for quite awhile.

For 2012 and 2013 Year 12ers, I wish yous all the best!!! :D

I'm doing it... but I've rememered why I don't like these types of subjects. So many arguable questions to answer... "Why do we have laws?" I could take the silly textbook answer of community values etc or I could give a proper answer. Which would take a long time.

To achieve a score of 35, you'd be looking to get B+/A for GA 1 and 2.
