lol EZ exam timetable constraints?

Seems like many schools are the same: >50% of 1/2 physics students drop it before heading into year 12. Maybe there's just a lack of good teachers for it...or maybe the curriculum is just bad? :P

I don't think EZ was allowed to do VCAA Philosophy and MUEP Philosophy.

Also, it's the same at my school. I'm actually one of the physics drop-outs. Apart from generally disliking physics, the fact that our school has a poor record with physics (which i think is due to the teachers), became a huge factor for my decision.

My school only one person get's 50s too. Lemme tell you, in physics one person got 47, then everyone got <40. If you're not top 5 ranking in my school you're screwed because the general cohort is...shit.

Just for your knowledge above ^^, an IB grade of 7 is equivalent to a studyscore of 42 and above.

sounds about right.  I did a mock IB French exam and lost about twelve marks, and it was still a "7".  imagine losing twelve marks on VCE French.  goodbye any hope of 40....
2009:

I'd say that a scaled 40+ wouldn't be beyond you if you lost 12 marks on a VCE French exam...

My school has quite poor scores to be honest, 2010's dux was about an 80. 2009 was actually one of the best in recent years with a 92.

Because our school doesn't generally have high achievers, does that mean my score would be dragged down?

Your study scores may get dragged down if you have a weak cohort. Just make sure you're rank1 or ranked 1-3 depending on the strength of the top students and you do well on the exams.

Well I know our school isn't the best, but this year there's bound to be a few 90+ scores so if I do well enough it shouldn't be affected too much, if at all :)
