Timetable is not out yet, but you children will have an extra week to study.  :)

Whole exam period has been pushed back by a week.

That's so bad. I had my enviro exam on my birthday this year and by making it from the 3rd to the 23rd of November I'll almost certainly get stuck in the same situation for either physics or chemistry next year ('cause enviro was quite late in the timetable). :P

...But the results still come around Dec 13th right, even though they get a week less to mark the exams?

I don't understand why vcaa would do this, I don't think anyone was complaining about the current time slot and it either gives them one less week to get everything sorted out or an extra week for us to wait to get our results which in turn pushes all the uni's back one week cos they have to also wait to see who choses them and who gets in.

It's prety trivial though.

Once again it was 2010 that was the unlucky year. I don't know about the rest of you 2010ers but this year was probably the worst to be completing year 12 in, well from my experiences anyway. Just so unlucky :(

They probably just need the extra week to check the exams and ensure that mistakes aren't going to happen - but I still think there will be some. XD

Why unlucky? 2011ers have a one week advantage. So what? Everyone's in the same boat.

It's not a delay for the release of the results, it's a delay of the whole exam timetable by a week, so if anything they'll be reducing their time to check the exams, not increase it.
