So you got completely screwed by the moderation process.  :S  Totally sucks!

Luckily for me there was 1 other smart person in all my subjects, because I don't think I was ranked first in all of them.

If my class screwed up my mark I would be furious.

Yeah, it is pretty devastating.. Stole the slim chance of a scholarship.

I was like 1% behind him in Spesh and 3 or so in chem...

49/50 -> 44

42-44 -> 36 :buck2:

But I'll still get into my course, so it's alright..

EDIT: Nooo, I used atarcalc and last year my score would've been 0.40 higher ..

Good thing about the course, but yeah, really sorry about the ATAR.  Really unfair.

Thanks a lot mate.  This website is awesome and without it I don't think I would have done anywhere near as well as I did.  Going to a relatively average school, I relied on fellow members on here for help and advice.  Without it, I would have really struggled.  ATAR Notes is a fantastic resource and I recommend every get behind it and help the new nationwide project evolve.  It will benefit so many students.  :)

Oh, and WHY can I not karma you!!!  :P

This is precisely the motivation behind the site and I'm glad it helped you (and evidently many others) so much :)

I think the end goal of this site is to reduce significantly the awful disparity between private and state schools, one ATAR at a time :)

Kinda glad, too.
My poor School Captain, lol... I'm Vice Captain, and he was 0.5 of an ATAR point behind me.
The aggregate difference was 0.9... and he was 1 mark off from getting a 40 in Biology.
That would really, really suck.

At least its not as bad as my school captain vs vice (more then 35 ATAR score in difference)

Prob sum1 that got like a 45 in one subject and failed the rest? That would give a Atar lower than 45  :P Kinda sad though

my thoughts exactly but...how can such a scenario occur? you would think that one with the capabilities of a 40+ raw would have some sort of drive to go well :S

Yeah true, I don't know how that works though very rare..I was just informed, I can't disclose any further info, except that the score was lower :P

Probably like 40 in industry and enterprise (scales down 10) and <20 in others :P
