So p.e scales down because traditionally 'dumber' people take this subject and they don't care so much about so the average mark becomes lower?? I don't really understand how that all works :p

And when will the a+cut off come out or does it never come out?

The premise is that since 'dumber' people are doing it, it would be easier to score higher as your raw study score is essentially a ranking, and the amount of 'dumber' people makes it easier to be in the top 8% of students.

they don't choose scaling, it depends on cohort who does it - which are typically a weak one. it wont be scaling up anytime soon, since the avarege person who does it will remain similar.

I only got 40 raw which is far from bad I know, although I checked with the answers on this thread for the exam and basically had them word for word which doesn't make much sense considering GA1 and GA2 were both an A+ :s

yes i understand your fustration. i lost probably 5 marks on that exam that i know, got close to full mark average on my sacs in a pretty good cohort and only got 45. so annoyed.

get a statement of marks, and find out exactly what happened.
vexx mate i was expecting a 48+ from you! But nonetheless a great effort.

aw unfortunately i was as well, and i didn't get :( no one in my school im aware of so far got 45+ aside from me, which is quite strange.. our dux got 42.. lame weaker cohort :(

howd you do? get 48+? haha

Thanks for that :) I think I understand that now...the whole scaling thing still does my head in :/

Got 48. Very happy with my result. The ambiguity of the exam was where most people tripped up I think.

Wow this is interesting. I can sort of see why it's turning into a science.

Congratulations to you both for the study scores btw
