48 for further
40 for chemistry
:)
The things that a certain someone does at school:
-Steals peoples Accounting Checkpoints, cuts out the notes and returns the book minus the notes.
-Steals teacher resources which are intended for the whole class.
-Steals peoples Accounting notes that they write in class.
-Gets trial exams off VCEnotes before doing them at school so he boast about his 'intelligence'.
-Tells people that a revision lecture is fully booked out when it is not.
-Claims that friends give him notes and summaries which have actually been downloaded off VCEnotes.

Good question, everyone's been asking me the same:

I guess I don't know what to drop, and I need insurance

Do English + English Language.  It will be a ballbreaker, but very good insurance.

I'd probably drop Physics if I were you, unless you really like it or need it for your course.
I hear you can't drop very many marks in it for 50.

@fuzzylogic what were your GAT scores like, if it's not too bold to ask...
I won the GAT: 49/50/50.

Thanks for the suggestions!

@10weid:

Chem's my best subject, and I'm doing Chem Olympiads (trying out for Australian team) next year so MUEP chem is highly useful, if not essential. I was considering dropping physics, but my dad (who did physics at school) stamped on that idea.

And yup, you can't drop many marks to get a 50. Same goes for almost every subject bar bio

And how did you find out my last name? Do we know each other, or did you stalk me in the paper? :P

@stonecold:

English and English Language? Ball-breaker...you can say that again! I didn't like English at school, and it's a bit late for me to pick up English 3/4, having done EngLang 1/2. Anyway, my GAT shows that my English skills are mediocre at best...(31/40 -> 42 for WC).

@funkyducky:

Fuzzylogic is too awesome for the GAT :D

Yeah no worries, but just consider it.  I did a very crappy version of 1/2 English in Year 11.  Didn't help at all with 3/4, so you don't need it.

You will probably be fine, but the only reason I push the idea is because you're looking for 99.95, and you obviously need a good English score for that.  In the small chance you have a shocker of a day on the English language exam, and say get low 40s, this may hurt your chances.

The backup English can be your savior in such a situation.

Edit:  Oh and GAT is a load of crap.  I got 28 for Written Comm in 2009 and 38 this year, and well you can see the rest.

I did Lit 1/2 and am doing English 3/4...my Lit teacher said it was a good choice and that I'd find English really easy in comparison. If I could I would take EngLang, but they don't have it at my school :( and I don't want to do Distance Ed.
