Is there a reason other than that you believe you merited a higher mark. They may have a provision for incorrect assessment but I doubt it

Firstly, my whole class as a whole were a strong cohort according to state. There were people achieving 98s and 100s in SACs. Mind you the SACs where much harder than the exam itself. We got the results today and the highest was 37 from year11 and 46 from year12. One of the year 12s who got 40 had his writing published on a newspaper due to its quality. I beleive the marking was rigged as competition is fierce within the subject I did.

Just letting you know in the last 5 years or so they have only remarked one 3/4 paper which was English, whose score rose so much due to some problem they had originally marking it.
I spoke to them about this with pysch last year :p unfortunately it almost definitely won't happen.. but goodluck i guess, try getting an inspection first.

You can complain (and should if you feel hard done by) but unless there was a problem or a mistake in the assessment then I don't think you have grounds for anything to happen. They'll probably give you a line about not being able to reassess papers without proper grounds, but if you really think something is wrong then you'll need to persist past that

It's probably not what you want to hear, but the marking isn't rigged and at the end of the day the VCAA are just assessing the papers they're given

Exams get marked twice anyway don't they?
So there's a very very small chance that something has gone wrong.

Yes, that's what I thought. Exams are marked by two different people. If one marker didn't/hadn't picked something up, in most likelihood, the other marker would have.

Yeah, that's why it's very hard (impossible?) to have a paper remarked because you disagree with your result

Yeah it's very hard to do. There was a discrepancy between assessor marking on a response that required a numerical value for the answer (e.g. how many mLs in a cup?) and I contacted one of the heads at VCAA assessment and received a very rude response. Unless there is something majorly wrong, you can't do anything. Furthermore, VCAA's system is actually about as fair as they can make it... There's a small margin for error which I suppose you just have to live with, even if you're on the wrong end of things. I know it sucks, but that's what happens when they need to assess 50000 students.

Hey onur, let us know if any change happens.
Ancient Persian Proverb; " I Wept because i had no Shoes, until i saw a man with no feet!"

First they came for the Socialists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Socialist.
Then they came for the Trade Unionists, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Trade Unionist.
Then they came for the Jews, and I did not speak out --
Because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for me -- and there was no one left to speak for me.

From what I understand, I don't think you can change your mark despite you paying to see your exam papers and finding errors in it.
