Yeah, it is nice that they give us time.  Preferences there don't close until 6 Jan either.  :)

It means that you're being offered a scholarship, as long as you get into the course it's offered for.

I got offered a provisional scholarship for La Trobe ... too bad I don't want to go there. Damn Melbourne for not having more scholarships!

um what provisional scholarship? Is it that vtac letter, cause I got that too.

Screw La Trobe! So I can get a scholarship, but I can' do Dentistry.

Its annoying that they send it out after change of preferences. I guess they just want the kids who really want to go to latrobe.

^ It's very dodgy, their whole administration. Like my 1st pref La Trobe Dentistry, I didn't even do bio but like VTAC still sends me this scholarship letter about La Trobe when it will get rejected immediately through the computer [I believe].
I don't see why La Trobe would want to offer a scholarship to me provisionally when I can't even get into their course.
