Is it just me or have we lost the icons, latex and subscript ect on the posting pages?

That's odd, they were there about 20 minutes ago because I used that latex button lol.

I've posted in this thread before. Just then, there were no threads when I clicked on "show new replies to your posts", but then I found said thread on p2 of "show unread posts since last visit".

Just to add to the bugs. I'm not sure if this is just me but as soon as the time ticks over to 12:00am in the morning (i.e. the next day). The
"show unread posts since your last visit" shows no results even when there are new posts and topics. It continues to do this, not recognising new posts until you sign out and sign back in. I don't know, I may just be my cookies.

This is kinda like the issue I was talking about before.

Hmm. I'll look into it... But the truth is... Old attachments are going to remain screwed unless moved back to their original home manually, but all new attachments should be fine... The other things... I can't fix without rewriting parts of SMF, which I don't want to do, because then we won't be able to upgrade. I'm not entirely sure if they are SMF "bugs" or just that the data that was moved over from the 5 old databases is screwing things up. We can wait and see if they are fixed when SMF releases a new version, or we can wipe all the data and start over from scratch. But that option kinda sucks. :p

p.s - i don't know if this has been brought up or not - the tutoring section with reviews is great however I think the word limit imposed does make it difficult for some tutors. I offer a few different services (tutoring, essay correction etc.) and I've found it difficult to explain everything in the 1500 character word limit. Why is this imposed? If a student is interested in you, they will keep reading - even if the advertisement is long. With the restraint, I've found that I can't express all my experience and skills in detail to make a difference between myself and another tutor. Are we doing anything about this or is this something that ATARnotes is happy with?

Not sure what happened to editing your ad, you should be able to. The only thing that wasn't possible to edit was the reviews due to possible abuse of the system (coercion etc).  Regarding the word limit, personally I write a short summary on the ad there and redirect to my old advertisement thread where there's more detail and I'm actually able to format everything properly. It's quite difficult to write a longer ad in the new system purely because it just comes out as a block of text.
