English Language

Barely any study all year, half an essay on the exam and left out about 10 marks on the paper and still some how got a C and a SS of 30.
Although it does not seem much, my predictions were an E and a SS of about 20-25.

Accounting. No work or stress. My top raw score.

I basically worked on Spesh and Hebrew all year. See how that turned out :P

Physics 50 haha. I didn't even get the Physics SAC prize (there were 4) and I never listened to the teacher in class.
Hey kyzoo - wtf happened to spesh scaling>??

Spesh scaling is higher than last year i think. Last year was 50-->51.2, this year it's 50-51.6. Still low, but I'll take it lol

spesh last year scaled to 52.11, so scaling for spesh is decreasing...

my fluke was english, but english is, was and will always be the most rubbish subject

Japanese, and Physics. Did hardly any real work for Jap until about a month before the exam, even less for Physics and didn't do half bad. I expected to fail Physics. In the case of Jap I got the highest score our school's had for years, by a LONG way.

Spent all year working my butt off in Lit and Spesh... wanted a 40+ in lit, and a 35 in Spesh but oh well. It's over, so no point griping any more.

UMEP. Didn't attend any lectures for sem 2 and crammed everything the day before since I still had unit 3/4 exams to worry about.

Methods was my worst subject so I paid attention to it in order to get at least 25, in the end I fluked Chemistry.

I fluked 44 in Chem, 41 in Physics and 36 in Spesh =.=

Deserved way less than that.. But we all know less is more. So maybe lower is better?

I fluked a 47 in IT Applications when I did zero study before the exam. Not to mention our teacher just up and left half way through the year with no explanation, and the new teacher that replaced her quickly discovered we had learned nothing of unit 3...

I had completely given up on the subject and was lucky I even showed up to the exam, I was considering skipping it all-together.

Turns out the exams are ridiculous (as I would have known if i'd done any practice ones) and are pretty much just using rational logic to work out the most common sense answer.

I'm not proud of it, I don't deserve that mark at all given the amount of work I put in, but atleast it got killed by scaling and didn't make my top 6 so I don't feel bad about it, just happy I dragged everyone else's sac marks up :)

2010 ATAR: 99.45, congrats to the VCENotes class of 2010 :)
2011: Commerce/Engineering@Monash. Keen to tutor VCE students next year in any of the above subjects except English and IT, feel free to shoot me a PM if you have any questions relating to those subjects, probably won't be on this site often now, but PMs go to my email.

I'll say Philosophy, because after getting 59/100 for the GA1 sacs, I expected a 30 or less
I got about 70~/100 for GA2, then studied for a good months worth, got a B+ in the exam and got 35.

I was/am ecstatic.
sometimes I feel as if I'd be more enriched in life if I bought an RV and started cooking meth
