Confirmation of the scholarship, you mean?
Or entry into course? I'm pretty sure we're all in if we achieved the requirements.

the deadline for the scholarship acceptance is wednesday btw, so unless there's another round of scholarships, I'd lower my expectations just a tad

wait hold on, no one is answering the question that all of us are wondering about. What scholarship are you talking about andrew? If you got that email, does that mean you are eligible for access melbourne? and also if you meet everything such as pre-req and more than atar of 88, it means you got into biomedicine or commerce right.
there is not separate access melbourne but no scholarship.
All eligible students who applied for a Special Entry Access Schemes (SEAS) course place at the University of Melbourne for 2011 via VTAC will be considered for a Melbourne Access Scholarship. No separate scholarship application is required.

yeah ...Access Melbourne applicants are students who have applied for SEAS
Access Melbourne Guarantee is for Students who have applied under category 5 or/and 6 ...
Students will then have a chance to receive the Access Melbourne Scholarship which has been offered to most students...
If you received the letter saying you are eligible, i am guessing that UoM accepts your application for category 5 or/and 6 and if you have met all the requirements for the course, they will guarantee you a place.

That's true. I called them up. That's a relief. Does anyone know why some scholarships have been given out and a lot haven't? The guy said that scholarships have already been posted to the high achievers like 99.85-99.95 and already to people that fit under category 5 and 6. He said there are still a lot of scholarships and they won't be offered until the a few days after the first round offers have been posted.
called up, now i can actually rest :)...

Just called up UoM, no actual physical letter as i had earlier alluded to, but the email regarding the issue is pretty much the confirmation.

So if you received the email and met the requirements stated, then that is your confirmation.
